A great resource for designers: http://www.colourlovers.com. Understanding how it works can be a little tricky, so let me give you a quick rundown of what you can do:

• Create your own color palettes for design projects.
• Apply that palette, or someone else’s, to a ready-made pattern on the site.
• Download said pattern for use on a website or other project.
• Spend (waste) hours pouring over other palettes and patterns and voting on your favorites.
• In addition, use the Themelon app to sync your self-designed background with your Twitter profile (like I did).

I think the site actually does much more than this, but this is how I’ve been using it thus far. Try it out for yourself and let me know what you think.
