Opportunity is missed by most because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.
A great week!
Our week started off great with Shane’s uncle, Hal Brunson, preaching the morning and evening services at church. Sunday morning was on Isaiah 41–Hal spoke about the “I AM” who always says “I WILL.”
Monday night, the Paper[back] Dolls met for our monthly dinner and book club, sans Christy, at Sonoma Grill (the tilapia was wonderful!). Since we have a little trouble agreeing on what books to read and have varied tastes, we decided to do a “Potato Peel Pie Society” style club for a while where, rather than all reading the same book, we just talk about the books we’ve been reading or are planning to read.
Mostly, it was a good time to catch up with each other, and Jennifer looked especially stunning with her new makeover:

Jenny's MAC Makeover
Thursday night was Jennifer’s art show at Tazza, so Shane and I went to that for a while before finishing the night off with some Bruno’s pizza.
Tonight we went to the opening of Gallery Main Street downtown. Paul Jackson was the featured artist, and I really loved this work, titled Obsession.
Then we went to Jake’s for appetizers and drinks with Randy & Linda. It was a perfect night to be out on the rooftop with friends!
After Monk comes off, it’s off to bed.
